FORT STEWART, Ga.  –   On this episode of Winning Frontline, Kevin Larson sits down with CPT Gary Hartung to discuss his experience representing the Soldier Recovery Unit, Fort Stewart, and the U.S. Army at the 2026 Warrior Games at Joint Base San Antonio.
Competing in multiple adaptive sports, Hartung earned two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal. He discusses his recovery journey, the role adaptive sports played in it, and what it meant to compete alongside fellow Soldiers while representing Fort Stewart on the national stage.
