Q. Can my dependent or retirees be seen at these clinics?

A. Unfortunately we do not see dependents/ retirees in the clinic. We only provide care at the moment to Active Duty Service Members.

Q. How do I enroll my dependent for dental coverage?

A. Please refer to https://tricare.mil/ for more information.

Q. Can I get braces here?

A. Currently Fort Stewart does not provide that service, however there are exceptions for Service Member actively in orthodontics coming from installations under the care of a military provider that provides this service.

Q. Can I bring my child with me to my appointment?

A. No.  Unfortunately our staff cannot watch your children if you are having a procedure done. Please make appropriate accommodations.

Q. Is wearing a mask a requirement?

A. Yes. In order to enter the facility a mask and temperature check is required.

Q. If I have received both COVID vaccinations and I display symptoms can I still be seen?

A. If you are symptomatic when you arrive to the DTF (Dental Treatment Facility) you may be rescheduled.

Q. Can I be seen off post?

A. In some cases you will be referred off post using the ADDP (Active Duty Dental Program) based on appointment availability.

Q. Will I need a COVID test prior to care?

A. Depending on the nature of your procedure and other factors you may be tested a day or two prior to your appointment.
