Winn Primary Care
Welcome to Winn Primary Care! We have 3 Patient Centered Medical Homes (Red, White and Blue) which consist of a combination of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine providers,
Primary care is a health service you get from a primary care provider or primary care manager (or PCM) during a doctor’s visit. Some of these services include:
• Routine care, like an annual physical exam
• Medical treatment for nonemergency or nonurgent care
• Follow-up care if you have ongoing medical problems
• Preventive health care, like immunizations and allergy shots
• Family planning
• Patient education and counseling
Primary care also includes medically necessary diagnostic laboratory and X-ray procedures and tests. Primary care is used to treat adults and children, including infants and newborns.
Registered Professional Nurses (RN’s), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s), Medical Support Assistants (MSA’s), Active Duty Medics and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA’s). Additionally, the Primary Care Clinic consists of Respiratory Therapy, Allergy/Immunizations, Internal Behavioral Health Consultation, Clinical Pharmacists and EKG/Echocardiography.
We stand ready to provide Primary Care services to all TRICARE Prime patients enrolled to our clinic, and to non-enrolled patients as space permits. These services include treatment for acute minor illness, preventive and wellness care, routine care for chronic illness, and referrals for specialty care. Frequent procedures include pelvic exams, pulmonary function testing, EKG’s, Echocardiograms, and various minor surgeries. RN’s are available to provide information to patients via telephone as appropriate.
Clinic hours are Monday – Friday (except Federal holidays or Training holidays), 7:30 a.m. – 4: 30 p.m.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. We understand that there are infrequent times that circumstances do not allow you to arrive on time for your appointment. When that occurs, we will offer to work you in at the end of the morning schedule, or sometime later in the afternoon, or we will gladly reschedule your appointment for another day.

Please bring a list of all current medications to every visit.
-
To speak to your Team’s RN, call the Winn ACH appointment line at 571-802-0394 and ask to have a telephone consult placed for your provider. Please ensure that your correct contact information is annotated on the telephone consult. If a team nurse is not available to speak to you immediately, you will receive a call back within no more than 72 hours but most often within 24 hours (exceptions for holidays).

Female patients requiring pregnancy test and who are assigned to our clinic can present to Primary Care on a walk in basis. An order for lab testing will be placed and the patient will be directed to the lab. When results are available, the patient will be contacted by a nurse. In the event that the pregnancy test is positive, the patient will be given instructions on obtaining prenatal vitamins and getting set up with the OB/GYN clinic.
